He interrupted our conversation to tell us he was leaving. Our meeting was interrupted by a phone call. disrupt The computer system was disrupted by the virus. The accident downtown disrupted the bus schedule. The neighbor’s children always disturb us in the afternoon. Am I disturbing you by watching TV? Sorry for disturbing you, but may I see your I.D., please? 我們也可以把它變成形容詞 disturbing (干擾寧靜的; 令人感到不舒服的) 和 disturbed (被打擾的; 感到不舒服的) The photo of the crime scene is really disturbing. (那張犯罪現場的照片令人很不舒服) We were deeply disturbed by the news report. My ex-girlfriend is a very disturbed young woman.
