而 battle 是一場戰爭中的一次 ”戰役”
所以這句話字面上的意思就是 ”贏了一場戰役, 卻輸了整個戰爭”
指雖然一時佔上風, 長遠來說卻是吃虧的
比如和上司起爭執, 也許當下吵贏了, 結果卻因此種下惡因而導致失業或在工作上更大的障礙
例: The stock market might look better now, but investors should be careful not to
